In our dance studio, under the guidance of professional dancer, Ms. Mary Dow, students embark on a creative journey that goes far beyond memorizing steps. This year’s highlight, “You Are My Sunshine,” exemplifies our unique approach to movement education. Studies by the National Dance Education Organization have shown that dance education improves cognitive development, particularly in areas of spatial awareness and non-verbal reasoning – skills crucial for success in STEM fields.
