A. For families applying for admission to Baker and also seeking tuition assistance, the admission application and materials must be completed and submitted along with the tuition assistance application. Tuition assistance applications will be reviewed and processed for families who have completed their child’s admission application file. All families seeking tuition assistance must first complete and submit the admission application and required application materials to Baker.
A. Tuition assistance grants may be applied towards a student’s Baker’s comprehensive tuition plan which includes: early morning care from 7:30-8:30 a.m, yearbook, athletics, field trips and field experiences, computers and technology, student clubs, PE clothing, and band instruments. Tuition assistance grants do not cover: extended care after school, hot lunch program or after school enrichment activities.
A. Families who submit both their application for admission and tuition assistance application by the December 14, 2018 priority deadline will receive notification of the admission decision by January 31, 2019. For families who qualify for a tuition assistance grant, if offered admission for the 2019-2020 year, will receive their enrollment agreement and confirmation of their tuition assistance grant by January 31, 2019. For qualified applicants who apply after the December 14, 2018 priority deadline, grants are determined based on the availability of funds.
A. At Baker, tuition assistance grants are based on income, assets and resources. Since each family’s situation is unique, the Committee gives careful attention to each family’s application individually. The following examples are provided to illustrate the different families who apply for tuition assistance at Baker and to give a general idea of qualification levels for tuition assistance.
