I received my B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University, and my M.Ed from Erikson Institute. I did my student teaching in first grade and was a kindergarten aide for two years, but I am a preschool teacher through and through. I taught in early childhood classrooms for 14 years before I joined Baker, including 3 years at Truman College and 7 years at Baby Toddler Nursery in Evanston. In my spare time I like to walk, garden, attend concerts, and take small road trips. I love books, but my favorite part of school is reading out loud to children. I can’t wait to find out which books will be our class favorites this year!
