I began my work at Baker in 2013.

I earned my B.A. from Ball State University and my M.A. from Columbia College.

What I value most about working at Baker is the trust placed in me as a professional to do what is best for kids, and how deeply equity and justice work is embedded into everything we do. Baker is a place where I’m supported to take risks and innovate, which has allowed me to grow as an educator. I also love being on a team with other arts specialists and being surrounded by so many creative teachers.

The greatest gift I hope to bestow upon my students is creative confidence, an appreciation for all types of art, and a love for making and creating. I hope they learn to harness the power of their art to enact change, express who they are, and bring beauty into the world.
