Natasha loves to learn and teach science! Her favorite living scientists include Robert Sapolsky and Neil deGrasse Tyson, both of whom she admires for their intellect, but more importantly for how they popularize the biggest ideas in science with great storytelling. She came to Baker with three years of experience teaching high school biology and chemistry in the south side of Chicago. Natasha teaches with an inquiry-based approach, and enjoys pushing students to think creatively. She has also worked in a neuroscience lab where she “played” with rats everyday to see how their brains worked. Natasha loves to draw, paint, and read science fiction books — particularly those of Isaac Asimov.
