Jane Rothschild

Second Grade Teacher


Jane Rothschild has been a part of the Baker school community since the spring of 2012. She first served as an Associate Teacher in both second and fifth grades. She also served as a maternity leave substitute teacher before becoming a lead second grade teacher in 2015. In 2008 Jane returned to graduate school at for her Masters in Teaching. Before that she worked for more than a decade in a reading literacy program in Evanston/Skokie School District #65. She and her husband, Tony, live in Evanston, where they raised their two grown sons, Jimmy and Danny. Jane and Tony are both long-time volunteer tutors for students in after-school and summer programs in Chicago and Evanston.
