Steps to Apply

Choosing the school that best suits your child’s unique characteristics and interests can be one of the biggest decisions parents face. Our admissions process helps you and your child understand our culture, academic programs and community. We also get to know your child, and determine if we believe he/she will thrive at Baker.

Applications for first-round consideration are due by December 14, 2018 for the 2019-20 school year. Applications received afterwards will be considered based on space availability. Have a question? Step One

Inquiry

Prospective families, to learn more about Baker and schedule a school tour, please submit the inquiry form.

Step Three

Student Visit

After submitting the admission application and application fee, the Admissions Team will assist you with coordinating a day for your child’s visit. Shadow visits for applicants to grades 2-8 are coordinated and scheduled by the Admissions Team. Applicants to preschool, kindergarten and first grade will be invited for a morning play visit, Play visits and shadow visits are scheduled by appointment through the Admissions Office.

Admission Notification

With the submitted application and fee, supporting materials, and shadow visit completed, the Admissions Committee will review the student’s admission file. After review of the child’s admission file, parents will receive admission notification from the Admissions Office.
