Come Perform with Baker!

Baker Band Camp 2022

Join Baker’s Middle School Band Camp this summer. Each session is two weeks and musicians are welcome to attend one, two or all three sessions. At the end of each session, there will be a public performance!  Repertoire will range from standard middle school band literature and pop to experimental and electronic New Music.  Musicians will also be able to choose the pieces they perform as well as get a chance to compose their own.

Each two week session will have a visiting artist/group to perform as well as time to explore their own musical tastes. Even though we’re calling this a band camp, all instruments will be welcome (including strings, piano/keyboards, and laptops).  This will be a time for middle school musicians to hone their skills and perform real world music at a high level as well as sharpen their creativity and artistic expression.
