Tuition Assistance
Baker Demonstration School is committed to maintaining a socio economically diverse student body. We encourage any family who feels they may need assistance to proceed with the admission process and follow the steps in applying for qualified financial aid. Financial assistance is not available for the Toddler Program or Pre-Kindergarten.
Baker offers tuition assistance to admitted students with demonstrated need. The financial aid process is independent of the admissions process. Baker's admission process is uniform, regardless of a family's need or interest in financial aid.
Parents apply for financial aid after they submit the admissions application, and then annually for the following school year. Baker will consider financial aid applications only after a tuition deposit and enrollment contract are submitted. A completed financial aid application does not guarantee receipt of tuition assistance.
Applying for Tuition Assistance
To apply for financial aid for Baker Demonstration School, you can can fill out the online online School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) application at sss.nais.org/parents. Our school code is 1460. Financial aid applications and 2011 tax documentation will be due to SSS no later than April 16, 2012. A reduced deposit of $250 will hold an accepted child’s place until aid awards are distributed in late May.
Any questions about the process for seeking financial aid should be directed to Hilary Holder, the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, at (847) 425-5813.
