Welcome
The Development Office works with the Baker Fund Board to foster relationships and secure the necessary financial resources to sustain Baker. We strive to engage every member of the school community in our program so that we may further confidence, enthusiasm and support for Baker. We invite you to become an active participant in the Baker Experience where you will help make a difference in our students' education, which will last a lifetime.
Why Give?
Baker Demonstration School is committed to provide each student an outstanding education while maintaining affordable tuition. Like virtually all independent schools, tuition alone doesn't cover the entire cost of a Baker eduction. Therefore, fundraising is necessary.
The true measure of the health of an independent school is the level of engagement of its constituents - from students to trustees. By giving to Baker you show that you support the school, its values, and the high quality of education the students receive.
It is our ongoing goal to encourage wide community participation and investment in Baker. Unlike public schools, which receive tax revenue, independent schools such as Baker rely on philanthropic support to meet the school's annual operating expenses and to make improvements to our program and facilities.
The Baker Office of Development, in conjunction with the Baker Fund Board and the Baker School Board, exist to facilitate fundraising activities at Baker.
Those families who are able are encouraged to take leadership roles in the school's emerging development culture. ALL gifts, regardless of size, are appreciated and recognized.
