girls with cookiesThe mission of the Baker Parent Organization is to build community among all Baker families, encourage and promote active engagement, and support retention and stability.

The Baker Parent Organization, or BPO, is part of what makes Baker Demonstration School a truly special community of parents, families, friends, and learners. As a commuter school, Baker takes to heart the importance of enabling meaningful interaction both on and off campus. The BPO works tirelessly throughout the year, offering parent welcome coffees, hosting annual social events, and demonstrating how much we appreciate the diversity of our student body and the dedication of our faculty.

All parents and guardians of children attending Baker Demonstration School are members of the BPO, and everyone’s involvement is welcome, encouraged, and essential. Come share your ideas at the BPO meetings or volunteer at one or two of the many events and celebrations that bring life and learning to Baker.

Please visit the BPO Volunteer page to read about various committees that rely on parent support and commitment. You’re sure to find a committee that interests you and that has volunteer opportunities to fit your schedule.
