boy writingThank you for your interest in Baker Demonstration School. The school's admission process reflects the experiential learning that goes on every day in our classrooms. If you haven't already, please submit an inquiry form by e-mail or fax to receive an admission packet.

For 2012– 2013 enrollment, please take a virtual tour of the school or, better yet, arrange a visit to the Baker campus. There you will find students engaged and classrooms abuzz with the hands-on, collaborative approach to teaching and learning that makes Baker unique on the North Shore. After your visit, you will more clearly understand why Baker graduates share a reputation as nimble, 21st-century thinkers who go on to attend some of the most rigorous high schools in the Chicago metropolitan area.

At this time, we have limited openings in our early childhood program and upper grades for the 2011– 2012 school year. We encourage you to contact Hilary Holder, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, as soon as possible to explore Baker and learn more about the admissions process.

The school endeavors to make the admissions process as enjoyable as possible and welcomes your questions. As one of the school’s founders, Elizabeth Harrison, once said, “Come live awhile with our children!” We hope you accept our invitation, and we look forward to meeting you soon.
