Afffiliations
Baker contributes to the professional preparation of teachers and teaching programs while providing a progressive, child-centered education for young learners. We are members of the National Association of Laboratory Schools (NALS) and Lake Michigan Association of Independent Schools (LMAIS). Baker is accredited by the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services. We are a provisional member of the Independent Schools Association of Central States (ISACS) as of July, 2006. In addition, we are pursuing accreditation by thefor our newly added Toddler Program. Baker continues an academic affiliation with National-Louis University's National College of Education.
